Rooted in attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and polyvagal theory, the Healing Our Core Issues model is a powerful approach for addressing developmental and relational trauma. It is specifically designed to support healing from childhood wounds that continue to shape emotional and relational patterns in adulthood.
The process includes mapping your developmental history, reparenting younger parts of yourself, and learning to stand firmly in your truth and authenticity.
Relational trauma doesn’t only originate in childhood. Even those who grew up in emotionally healthy environments can experience trauma in adulthood—particularly when attachment bonds are broken through betrayal, abandonment, or loss. These experiences can deeply impact our sense of safety and connection. Recognizing this, we approach relational trauma as valid and deserving of healing, no matter when it occurred.
